Working instruction
Cleaning/polishing welding seams (Picture
VI - j
)
-
Switch ON the device and set to the CLEANING () –
BRUSH (cleaning with brush) – POLISHING mode with
the working mode selector 8.
-
Regulate the power in base of kind of stainless steel to
work using the proper selector 9. An increase of power
corresponds an increase of working speed but it is
always suggested to try a preliminary test in order to
avoid to damage the workpiece or to burn quickly the
pads.

Press pushbutton 23, several seconds until the solution
flows into the pad 16.
After each actuation, wait for approx. 2-3 seconds until
pressing pushbutton 23 until. This ensures that the pump
system operates properly.
When starting the device for the first time, this process
must be repeated approx. 4–5 times.

Place the pad 16 soaked by chemical solution onto the
welding spot and move it back and forth applying firm
pressure. Repeat the procedure until the welding seam is
cleaned/polished.
Pay attention!
Never use the torch 10 without a pad 16.
The pad 16 must always be completely soaked with
solution otherwise, the service life will be heavily
reduced.
After cleaning/polishing procedure

After the working procedure, replace the torch 10 into
the support 12.

Remove from workpiece the electrolyte in excess,
otherwise it will appear after shortly the white marks due
to fixate these residues on the surface and will need to
repeat processing to remove them.

Spray the Neutralizing solution 19 on the surface in
order to neutralize any chemical solution residual.
-
Wipe the surface with a microfiber cloth dampened with
clean water.
-
Wipe the surface with a dry microfiber cloth.
Marking Set (Picture. VII - a )
PAY ATTENTION! The marking set is a specia accessory not
included in the delivy scope.
Mounting the marking insert (Picture

).

Loosen screw 25 with Allen key 21.
-
Insert graphite insert 26 into the opening on the marking
pen 24 and tighten screw 25 again.
Mounting the marking felt (Picture

).

Put marking felt 27 onto graphite insert 26 and secure
with O-ring 28.
Connecting the marking pen / device
-
Connect the ground cable 13 into the red socket 5 and
put the ground clamp on the stainless steel workpiece.
Ensure proper contact (Picture
VI – h
).

Connect one terminal of the torch power cable 14 into
the black socket 6 and the other terminal into the
connector of the marking pen 24 (Picture
VII - d
).

Insert plug of mains cable 1 into socket outlet.
Marking a workpiece (Picture

).

Place the marking screen 29 onto the workpiece. The
marking screen must be level on the workpiece.

Switch the devices on, and set the operating mode with
the mode selector 8:
Black line = black marking (marking function).
White line = white marking (eroding function).

Depending on the application, apply marking agent 30
or 31 onto the marking felt 27.
-
Move the soaked marking felt 28 over the marking
screen30.
Pay Attention: Do not apply agent over the edges of the
marking screen 29.
After marking procedure (Picture
VII - g
).

Replace the marking pen 24 into the support 12.
-
Remove the marking screen 29 from the workpiece.
-
Spray the Neutralizing solution 19 on the surface in
order to neutralize any marking agent residual.
-
Wipe the surface with a microfiber cloth dampened with
clean water.
-
Wipe the surface with a dry microfiber cloth.
-
Clean the marking screen 29 with clear water each time
after using.
