7.4.5

Maximum suction time

Setting the maximum suction time protects the membrane pump
against damage caused by permanent operation.
Example: If, because of a leaking suction hose, no water is taken in, the
suction procedure is automatically terminated after the maximum
suction time has expired.

Note

If the first sampling effort has taken in no water after the maximum
suction time is over, the suction procedure is automatically terminated.
If also the second sampling effort does not take in water, this causes
the ERROR CLOGGED error message (see section 9.1 E

).

The running program is not interrupted by the error.
