Safe operation If safe operation is no longer possible, the sampler must be taken out
of service and secured against inadvertent operation!
Safe operation is not possible if the sampler
l
has been damaged in transport
l
has been stored under adverse conditions for a lengthy period of
time
l
is visibly damaged
l
no longer operates as prescribed.
If you are in any doubt, please contact the Technical Support of WTW.
Technical state of the
sampler
It is the responsibility of the purchaser to continuously observe the
overall technical condition (externally recognizable deficits and
damage as well as alterations to the operational behavior) of the
sampler.
Obligations of the
purchaser
The purchaser of this sampler must ensure that the following laws and
guidelines are observed when using dangerous substances:

EEC directives for protective labor legislation
l
National protective labor legislation
l
Safety regulations
l
Safety datasheets of the chemical manufacturers.
Qualification of the
operating personnel
The personnel responsible for commissioning, operation and mainte-
nance must have the necessary qualifications for this work. If the
personnel do not have the required skills they have to be instructed.
Furthermore, it must be ensured that the personnel read and complete-
ly understand the contents of the present operating manual.
Returning the sampler
to WTW
Before returning the sampler, please observe the following points to
avoid unnecessary costs and delays:
l
Instruments / parts returned must be clean and free of dangerous
substances (acids, lyes, biological solutions, etc.).
l
WTW will charge cleaning and disposal if necessary.
