Modem Port (Line Port):

For connection to your phone line. For

information regarding modem conﬁ guration, please refer to Section 6.



RS232 PORTS:

For connection to RS232 console ports on user devices.

The APS-8M includes seven RS232 Ports, and the APS-16M includes

sixteen RS232 Ports. For more information, please refer to Section

4.3 (connection instructions), Appendix A (interface description), and

Section 5.2 (Setup Ports).
