7 INSTALLING VALINA
• Read Operating safety, on page 10, before you start installing
a VALINA.
• Make sure that:
– there is no sign of unusual cables connected anywhere
on the VALINA.
– there is no foreign object in either of the card-readers.
– the terminal is not displaying any warning message.
– the housing is not visibly damaged.
– the terminal serial number (on the label) corresponds
to the inventory.
• Make sure the vending machine has the necessary front
panel/top panel openings and spot-welded connection bolts,
and that the weld seams are within permitted limits.
• Make sure the front panel of the vending machine is smooth
and rigid with no unfinished edges on any of the holes or
openings.
• Make sure the VALINA cannot be removed from the vending
machine after integration.
