valve, and the fuel line. The IFDV prevents the built up pressure inside the tank from being transferred to the engine
while still allowing fuel to flow as the engine requires it for operation. The anti-siphon valve is a safety feature
designed to prevent the fuel from siphoning out of the tank if the fuel line were to be cut or broken below the level of
the fuel in the tank. In this case, some fuel would leak from the line, but will not allow the entire contents of the tank
to siphon into the boat. (See fig 6.3.6)
