g. Use power tools, insertion tools, etc. according to these instructions. Give due
consideration to work conditions and the task to be executed. Using power tools
for applications other than their intended use can lead to dangerous situations.
h. Keep the handles dry, clean and free of oil or grease. Slippery handles and grip surfaces
do not allow safe operation and control of the power tool in unforeseen situations.
5. Service
a. Only have your device repaired by qualified, specialised personnel, and only
repair it using original replacement parts. This maintains the safety of the power
tool.
6. Device-specific safety directions
a. Do not process any materials which may explode (e.g. easily inflammable
solvents). Power tools produce sparks that can ignite fumes.
b. Pull the plug from the electrical socket immediately and have the power tool
checked by our customer service if it falls into the material being mixed. If the
material being mixed enters the power tool, it can cause damage and lead to an
electric shock.
c. Hold the power tool with both hands using the insulated grips during operation
and ensure that you have a safe stance. It is safer to hold the power tool with two
hands. Loss of control can lead to injuries.
d. If the operating tool is blocked, turn the power tool off immediately. Be alert
to high braking torques that cause a kickback. The operating tool blocks if:
• The power tool is overloaded or
• it tilts in the workpiece to be machined.
e. Do not use the device to stir foodstuffs. Our power tools and accessories are not
suitable for processing foodstuffs.
f. Keep the cable away from the working area. The cable can get caught in the mixing
paddle.
g. The container used for stirring must be suitable for this purpose and stand
securely. A container which is not properly secured may move in an uncontrolled
manner.
h. Ensure that no liquid splashes against the power tool’s housing. If liquid enters
the power tool, it can cause damage and electric shocks.
i. Follow the instructions and warning notices in the safety sheet for the material
to be mixed. The material to be mixed may be hazardous to health.
