DANGER - 230v:
ISOLATE THE MAINS ELECTRICITY
SUPPLY BEFORE STARTING ANY
WORK AND OBSERVE ALL
RELEVANT SAFETY PRECAUTIONS.

IMPORTANT: OBSERVE ELECTRONIC

STATIC DISCHARGE PRECAUTIONS. DO

NOT TOUCH THE PCB CIRCUITS

Access to 230v connections:

1  Release screws (B) and remove cover panel

(C) from control box (A).

2  Release screw (D) from cable clamp (E).

 Pull inner clamp part (F) outwards.
 Feed sufficient power cable (G) through the

cable clamp (E) and secure grip with screw (D).

 Separate wires from cable end and strip to

6mm.

230v connections (terminal block X1):

3  Connect 

LIVE

 wire (Brown or Red) to terminal

(

L

).

 Connect 

NEUTRAL

 wire (Blue or Black) to

terminal (

N

).

 Connect 

EARTH

 wire (Green/Yellow) to the

connector (

E

).

Route the power cable down the side panel using

the clip provided on the support panel to the external

connection point avoiding any potentially hot

surfaces allowing sufficient cable to open the control

box.

Any external device connected to the boiler

must take its power supply from the boiler

only and must NOT have a separate supply.

Optional external 230v programmer (terminal

block X4):

4  Connect wires as shown.

 Connect earth (E) to terminal block X1.

Optional built-in 230v programmer:

5  Remove blanking plate (J).

 Set the pin on the rear of the programmer to

'pumped'.

 Clip programmer (H) into position as shown.
 Plug into terminal block X4 and secure.

External 230v room thermostat (terminal block

X2):

6  Remove link (K).

 Connect the wires as shown.

Optional external 230v 2x single pole frost

thermostats (terminal block X2):

7  Connect the wires as shown.

Two separate switched feeds are required to

ensure the correct operation of the control PCB.

Both thermostats should be installed together at

the location where frost damage could occur.

Refit electric control panel covers:

 Refit panel (C) and secure with screws (B).
