Safety Notes
• The dehumidifier must always be connected to a grounded electrical connection (required for
all electrical appliances). If non-grounded cable is used, all compensation will expire to the
owner and the warranty is voided.
• Wood’s dehumidifier should only be serviced and repaired by a qualified technician.
• Woods Dehumidifiers are only intended for use on a flat surface. If you use the device in any
other direction, the water may flood electrical components.
• Always unplug the dehumidifier before moving it to another location.
• If there is a risk that the water will flood the dehumidifier, it should be thoroughly dried before
re-connecting to power and reboot.
• To ensure proper operation, neither the inlet nor the outlet should be placed against a wall.
The inlet requires a minimum of 12” clearance and the outlet requires 36” distance from the
wall.
• The best option for proper airflow in the room is to dehumidly blow away from a wall and
intake air parallel to a wall.
• Do not insert your fingers or objects into the inlet or discharge.
• All work on the dehumidifier should be done with the device “off” and unplugged.
• Do not use water to clean the outside. To clean the unit, disconnect the power, then use a
damp cloth to wipe the outside.
• Do not stand on the machine or use it as a device to hang clothes on.
