Drive Belt Adjustment

DANGER!

Never adjust the drive belts and the drive belt

bracket while the engine is running. Failure to do so may
result in serious injury.

Periodically check the drive belt for wear. Replace any damaged or worn belts as needed

See Figure 5-5.

Adjust the drive belt tension using the bolt located between the

drive-side wheel covers. To tighten the drive belt, turn the bolt clockwise. To loosen the

drive belt, turn the bolt counter - clockwise.
