Starting The Engine (or Motor)
See the appropriate manual supplied with your specific engine/motor configuration for
starting and operating instructions.
DANGER!
Make sure all guards and covers are in place
and secured before operating or towing the sawmill. Failure
to do so may result in serious injury. Be sure the blade
housing and pulley covers are closed (i.e. the safety
switches located on them are engaged).
DANGER!
Always be sure that all persons are out of the
path of the blade before starting the engine or motor. Fail-
ure to do so will result in serious injury.
WARNING!
Always wear eye, ear, respiration, safety cloth-
ing, and foot protection when operating the sawmill. Failure
to do so may result in serious injury.
WARNING!
Be sure the power feed switch is in the neutral
position before turning the key switch to the #1, #2 or #3
position. This prevents accidental carriage movement
which may cause serious injury or death.
