EXTERNAL THERMAL CUTOUT REMOVAL

  WARNING

Turn off the power to the product before starting this
procedure.

To remove the external thermal cutout, first 

uninstall the unit

,

and remove:

1

Top cover

Remove the External Thermal Cutout

 

TIP: There is an external thermal cutout on the top of the
unit and back of the unit.

1

Disconnect the wire connectors from the external thermal
cutout.

2

Use a T-20 Torx bit to remove the screw from the external
thermal cutout.

3

Remove the external thermal cutout from the unit.

EXTERNAL THERMAL CUTOUT INSTALLATION

After installing the external thermal cutout, install:

1

Top cover

Then 

install the unit

.

Install the External Thermal Cutout

1

Place the external thermal cutout onto the unit.

2

Use a T-20 Torx bit to install the screw into the external
thermal cutout.

3

Connect the wire connectors to the external thermal cutout.

MOTOR DOOR LOCK REMOVAL

  WARNING

Turn off the power to the product before starting this
procedure.

To remove the motor door lock, first 

uninstall the unit

, and

remove:

1

Top cover

Remove the Motor Door Lock (MDL)

1

Disconnect the wire connectors from the MDL.

2

Use a T-20 Torx bit to remove the MDL screws.

3

Push the MDL toward the rear of the unit to disengage the
door switch and latch from the front collar.

4

Remove the MDL from the unit.

MOTOR DOOR LOCK INSTALLATION

After installing the motor door lock, install:

1

Top cover

Then 

install the unit

.

Install the Motor Door Lock (MDL)

1

Place the MDL onto the unit.

2

Push the MDL toward the front of the unit to engage the
door switch and latch into the front collar.

3

Use a T-20 Torx bit to install the MDL screws.

4

Connect the wire connectors to the MDL.
