4.08.05 Checking / changing tyre scraper (PUR)
General Only with scrapers that are properly adjusted you will achieve a clean
tyre surface. Check the condition of the scrapers. Replace worn
scrapers in good time.

If the scrapers [C] are worn to such an extend that the scrapers do not
rub against the roller drum with the stop screw [536] loose, the scrapers
must be re-adjusted at the clamp connection [B].
Readjusting the scraper
1. Switch off diesel engine and remove ignition key.
2. Using the handle [A] lift the scraper consoles. Pull actuation button
[536] and let the scraper console engage in the top position.
3. Loosen clamp connection [B] (3x).
4. Push the scraper [C] to the tyre until a clearance of 25 mm between
tyre and scraper [C] is reached (screw head and longitudinal hole
centre form an axis).
5. Tighten clamp connection [B] (3x).
6. Pull actuation button [536].
7. Apply the scraper to the tyre.
Exchanging the scraper
1. Switch off diesel engine and remove ignition key.
2. Using the handle [A] lift the scraper consoles. Pull actuation button
[536] and let the scraper console engage in the top position.
3. Loosen clamp connection [B] completely (3x).
4. Remove worn scrapers [C] and exchange with new ones.
5. Re-establish the clamp connection [B], however, do not tighten (3x).
6. Push the scraper [C] to the tyre until a clearance of 25 mm between
tyre and scraper [C] is reached.
7. Tighten clamp connection [B] (3x).
8. Pull actuation button [536].
9. Apply the scraper to the tyre.
