SECTION 2
DRIVING YOUR MOTOR HOME
NOTE: The rear window defogger is not de-
signed to melt heavy snow or ice. Always
remove snow and ice before driving off.
Energy Tip
Turn off any electrical items or accessories
(lights, fans, defoggers, etc.) when not being
used. This reduces fuel consumption by cutting
down electrical load on the automotive alterna-
tor. When the load increases, the electrical “pull”
on the alternator causes the engine to work harder
also, increasing fuel consumption.
REAR WIPER/WASHER (Optional)
The optional rear window wiper/washer is
controlled by a single-speed rocker switch on the
overhead console in the headliner above the rear-
view mirror. To turn the wiper on or off, press the
switch and release.
To use the rear washer, press and hold the
switch for as long as needed. The washer will
stop when you release the switch. The wiper will
continue until you turn the switch off.
The rear washer fluid reservoir is located in
the trunk compartment. (See Introduction page
0-4.)
