D. Other Function
1. UP/DOWN:
ƒ Under TV mode, UP/DOWN keys are for changing channels.
UP/DOWN keys are for selecting items.

VOL (+) or VOL (-):
ƒ Under any display mode, “VOL (+) or VOL (-) ” are for adjusting sound volume.
ƒ When entering the OSD, the “VOL (+) or VOL (-)” buttons are used for selecting
menu options. When entering sub-menu items, the “VOL (+) or VOL (-)” buttons are
for adjusting functions.

ARC (Aspect Ratio Control):
ƒ Normal: sets the aspect ratio to 4:3, as used in traditional TV programs. Black bars
will be visible on the left and right sides of the image.
ƒ Periscope: Expands 4:3 video sources to fit the 16:9 display by stretching the image
horizontally to fill the screen.
ƒ Zoom: Some DVD movies may not fill the top and bottom of the display. The zoom
function extends the height to fill the screen by stretching the image vertically.
ƒ Full: This mode expands 4:3 video sources both vertically and horizontally to fill the
entire screen while keeping the original aspect ratio.

APC (Automatic Picture Control):
Automatic Picture Control allows you to easily set the screen luminosity based upon your
environment. If in a well lit viewing area it may be necessary to turn up the screen intensity via
the APC "Clear" setting to make the image viewable. Likewise if in a dark viewing area it may
be necessary to turn down the screen intensity via the APC "Dark" setting. Toggle the
APC
button to scroll through the four APC modes to select the mode that best suits your situation.
5.
MTS (Multi-Television-Sound):
ƒ There are three supported MTS modes: “Mono”, “Stereo” or “SAP” (Secondary Audio
Program)
ƒ This LCD TV has the ability to decode stereo or SAP broadcasts.
6.
RESET:
ƒ Under PC mode, the reset button restores the following settings to factory values:
(Brightness, Contrast, Color, Temp, Volume, Treble, Bass, and Balance)
ƒ Under Video mode, the reset button restores the following settings to factory values:
(Brightness, Contrast, Hue, Saturation, Sharpness, Volume, Treble, Bass, and Balance)
