4.4 Connecting a VCR, Camcorder, or Game Console
Using the S-Video Connection
1. Prepare an S-Video cable (not supplied) and the audio cables for this connection.
2. Connect one end of the S-Video cable to the S-Video connector at the AV1/AV2 locations
on the LCD TV. Connect the other end to the corresponding S-Video connector on the VCR,
camcorder, or game console.
3. Connect the R (red) and L (white) audio cable ends to the L-Audio-R connectors at the
AV1/AV2 locations on the LCD TV. Connect the other ends to the corresponding left and
right audio connectors on the VCR, camcorder, or game console.
4. To use the connected device, turn on your LCD TV, press the
SOURCE
button to open the
Main Source
menu, press
T
to scroll through the source list and select
AV 1
or
AV 2
as the
input source. Press
ENTER
to confirm AV1 or AV2 as your selection.
5. Turn on the VCR/camcorder/gaming console.
NOTES:
For more information, see the instructions supplied with your VCR, camcorder, or game console.
You can only have video output via the S-Video Output connector or Video Output connector when you
have an AV1/AV2 S-Video Input connection.
You can only have audio output via the L-Audio-R Output connector, headphone connector, or speaker
when you have an AV1/AV2 L-Audio-R Input connection.
