NOTES ON THE CORD
a) A short power cord (or detachable power cord) is provided to reduce risks of tangling in or tripping
on a longer cord.
b) Longer detachable power cords or extension cords are available and may be used if care is exercised.
c) If a long detachable power cord or extension cord is used:
1) the marked electrical rating of the detachable power cord or extension cord should be at least
as great as the electrical rating of the appliance;
2) the extension cord should be a grounded-type 3-wire cord if the appliance is of the grounded type;
3) the longer cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the countertop or tabletop where it
can be pulled by children or tripped over.
ELECTRIC POWER
If the electrical circuit is overloaded with other appliances, your appliance may not operate properly. It should be
operated on a separate electrical circuit from other appliances.
