8.0 Analysis Modes :
8.1 Normal ( Analysis ) Mode
In normal analysis mode, reported data are the result of a rolling average of 16
measured values over a period of about 24 seconds. The display is updated at
each data point. The value will lag the sample concentration by a few seconds
but noise will be reduced.
8.2 Fast ( Survey ) Mode
Fast mode is entered and exited by pressing the light bulb button on the lower
right corner of the keypad. The display shows “Fast Response” when this mode
is enabled.
The fast mode is intended for detecting leaks or “hot” spots. The measurements
are not signal averaged. In this mode the display is considerably noisier than
in the normal mode but response is faster.
9.0 Display Operations :
9.1 System Indicator
LOW BAT warning appears in the indicator area when the battery is low
and will soon require a charge.
9.2 Display Modes
The concentration display changes depending on the relationship between the
measured concentration and the control parameters.
