8.1

 

General information on operation 

 

CAUTION!

 

Unsecured mower during transport! 

 

Raise the lawn mower during transport to the place of use and secure against inadvertent lowering. 
(Block the lifting hydraulics) 

8.1.1

 

Before mowing work 

 

Release the transport lock. 

 

Lower the mower using the front power lift. 

 

After lowering lock the power lift lever in the floating position 

 in this position the mower can adapt to rough 

grounds. 

 

Set the engine to full throttle and the turn on the front PTO shaft. 

 

The working speed should be selected according to the operating conditions. 

 

In case of very high or wet grass it is recommended to start with pre-cutting and then to rework with a low blade 
position, or to vertically lift the mower on the two front support wheels ba two distance rings (30 mm) before 
mowing. 

 

Also, the tractor should be turned around only on the area which has already been worked. 

8.1.2

 

After mowing work 

 

Clean the mower unit. 

 

Maintain the mower unit. 

 

Check blades for damages and a tight seat. 

8.2

 

Mowing high grass 

8.2.1

 

Method 1 

 

Mow grass twice. 

 

Adjust the cutting height of the mower unit such a position that the high grass is cut to the half height. 

 

For the second mowing operation adjust the mower unit to the desired height. 

8.2.2

 

Method 2 

 

At a slow driving speed mow the full width to the desired height, 
or 

 

only mow the half width to the desired height.
