20 W Stereo Integrated Audio Amplifier

PWB Design

The 20 W Stereo Integrated Amplifier is comprised of three major PWB groups, specifically:

•

The amplifier module, which includes amplifier board #1 (right), amplifier board #2 (left),

the B+ rectifier board, and a pair of speaker terminal boards.

•

The transistorized preamplifier module, which includes a main board and daughter board.

•

The power management module, which is a single board.

Each of these modules are described in the following sections.

3.1

20 W Stereo Amplifier Module

A printed wiring board (PWB) implementation is used that incorporates all components of the

stereo amplifier, except for the transformers, which are mounted on the chassis. The amplifier

module includes amplifier board #1 (right), amplifier board #2 (left), the B+ rectifier board, and a

pair of speaker terminal boards. Each is described in the following sections.
