Firmware Update

Downloading Firmware to PDA

Whirlpool Corp makes critical updates to
embedded control programming available to users
of the product.

Updates can be performed on previously installed
units using properly programmed PDAs & the
ADVANTECH™ Back Office Software installed on
a PC: (Whirlpool Pt# 8524744B)

PDA devices need to operate on a Palm

OS of

3.5.0 to 4.0.0

Firmware must be downloaded from the Internet at:

www.cltpsc.whirlpoolcorp.com/techinfo/tech_support/firmware/firmwaredefault.htm

Place the downloaded file onto the computer
Desktop where it can be unzipped easily.

Unzip the file and place it in the computer
ADVANTECH/Add-on folder.

software application

PDA Sync

button

9. Select

Advanced Sync Features

10. Select

Import Reprogramming File

11. Locate the Firmware file on your computer where it

was placed: C://Programs/ADVANTECH/Add-on
Then select the appropriate firmware file.
