Data exchange between PDA & Machine

To initialize a machine: 

 
1.  Aim the PDA at the machine’s infrared receiver. 
2. Tap 

on 

Initialize

, located on the 

Select a 

command

 screen on the PDA. 

3. The 

Initialization

 screen appears. To create a 

different ID, use the Graffiti

®

 writing area on the 

PDA to delete and re-enter a new ID number. 
Verify that you are aiming at the machine’s 
infrared receiver then tap on 

OK

 when the ID is 

correct. 

 

 

 

Important:

 

 
Machine IDs must begin with a “W” for washers or a 
“D” for dryers, followed by an additional five digits. 
The Handheld Software suggests a logical numbering 
order. Or, if you prefer, you could use the product 
serial number as well as another system of your 
choice. Machine IDs must also be unique within a 
location.
