Notes: The solar module serves as energy source for the solar
lamp.
Direct sunlight
that shines as long as possible is required in
order to charge the internal battery. This way the solar lamp can be
powered with electricity in darkness.
Please keep in mind that foreign light sources may turn the lights off
temporarily. Therefore, do not place the solar light near porch lights,
wall lights, motion detectors, street lights etc.
1. Dispose of the packaging materials carefully or store them in a
safe place. There is danger of suffocation for small children!
2. For safe transport the ground stake is inserted into the pole. Pull
out the ground stake from the pole. Turn over the ground stake
and reinsert into the pole.
3. Separate the solar panel unit from the clear body of the lamp
head by twisting (bayonet lock). Remove the plastic insulating
strip from the battery compartment. This strip served as a trans-
portation safety device. Reattach the solar panel unit to the clear
body.
4. Find a suitable location with direct sunlight. Insert the ground
stake vertically in the ground. Do not use a hammer or similar to
impose high pressure upon the ground stake. Put the lamp head
on top of the ground stake.
5. Make sure that direct sunlight shines on the solar panel for at
least 8 hours a day in order to fully charge the built-in battery. At
nightfall the solar lamp automatically lights up.
