Troubleshooting
If the solar lamp does not shine after several sunny days with direct
sunlight, please check the following possible causes for the defect:
The solar panel is soiled. Clean it.
Foreign light sources such as street lamps, automobile headlights
or illuminated address lights may temporarily switch off the solar
lamp.
The rechargeable battery is defective. To replace the battery,
remove the solar panel unit from the clear body of the lamp head.
Open the battery compartment at the bottom of the solar panel
unit and insert a new rechargeable battery. Pay attention to the
proper polarity. The polarity is printed inside the battery
compartment. Exclusively operate the solar light with a 1.2 V
NiMH rechargable battery of the size AA and with a capacity of at
least 300 mAh.
The clear part might get fogged from the inside. Remove the
solar panel unit from the lamp head and thoroughly dry the part.
The solar panel was not sufficiently exposed to the sun.
Cleaning
Wipe the device with a lightly moistened cloth. Use detergent as
needed. Do not immerse the device in water or any other liquid.
