Cleaning the Pump
The filter should be cleaned occasionally depending on the soiling of the water.
1. Open the case of the filter with a small screwdriver.
2. Push the screwdriver into the notch at the upper part of the pump and pull
back the case of the filter.
3. Remove the round cover and the filter.
4. Clean the filter in warm water and assemble the parts in reverse order.
5. Clean the riser pipe and the sprinkler elements in regular intervals with a
special brush for small tubes or with a pipe cleaner.
Cleaning the Solar Module
Soiling on the front-side of the glass surface will reduce the incidence of light
onto the solar cells and this will decrease the output of electrical power.
In case of heavy soiling, clean the glass with usual glass cleaners. To avoid
scratching the glass surface, use plenty of water and a soft brush or a cloth.
Check the electrical cables at regular intervals for any form of damage or
corrosion and for firm fit on the cable connections.
Note:
Protect the pump from frost!
During the winter time remove the pump out of the water and store all parts of the
set at a warm place. The solar module may remain outside.
