Using the Scanner

Transfer scanned Images to the PC 

Connect the slide and negative film scanner via the supplied USB cable (8) to a 
free USB port of your PC. In this case the power supply of the scanner is carried 
out by the USB cable. 
The scanner is detected as a USB mass storage device and it will be integrated 
as a new removable drive into the 
Windows operating system. If an SD 
card has been inserted into the card 
reader (3), this card reader is integrated 
as a removable drive into the PC. Using 
the Windows Explorer for example you 
have access to the folders and to all the 
images of the inserted SD card. 
The scanned images are stored in the 
folder “DCIM” or in one of the subfolders 
of this folder. 
If no SD card has been inserted into the card reader, the internal memory of the 
scanner will be integrated as a removable drive into the Windows PC:
