Safety Notes
Please read these operating instructions carefully and only use the unit as
described in this manual.
Make sure the voltage corresponds to the type label on the unit.
Persons with limited physical, sensorial or mental abilities are not allowed
to use the unit, unless they are supervised and briefed for their safety by a
qualified person.
Do not use the unit if the cable or other parts of the unit are damaged.
Have the unit repaired by an authorized technician.
Do not allow the power cord to run over sharp edges or corners or close to
hot surfaces.
Do not touch any hot parts of the unit. The temperature of the heating
element can be very high during the operation.
Do not use the wood engraver on materials which may melt such as
plastic or artificial leather.
To change the engraving tip during operation, always use a pair of pliers.
Do not leave the unit unattended. Keep children away from the unit while
in operation. Do not allow children or other persons in need of supervision
to use the unit.
Stay alert when using the unit near children.
Always switch the unit off after use and unplug from the mains power.
Before cleaning it, disconnect the power plug from the socket. Do not
unplug the plug from the socket by pulling the power cord, always grasp
the power plug.
Allow the unit to cool completely before cleaning or storing it.
Do not use the unit outdoors.
Never immerse the unit in liquids.
Do not disassemble the unit and do not attempt to repair it. The unit does
not include parts which can be exchanged or repaired by the user.
