Start-up
The infrared thermometer is used for contactless temperature measurement in a
range between -20° C and +270° C. You can measure either in ° C (Celsius)
or ° F (Fahrenheit), as desired.
The 1 point laser beam supports the user to aim at further away objects.
A memory function for metered values allows to read the measured value later on
e.g. when measuring at places that are difficult to reach or to write down the
metered value later.
Inserting/Changing the Battery
To operate, the measurement instrument needs a 9 V battery (6LR61).
1. Allow the instrument to turn off. 7 seconds after using the keys the last time,
the instrument shuts down automatically.
2. Open the battery compartment (9) at the bottom of the handle. Use the thumb
to press the grooved area and push the lid in direction of the arrow.
3. Press the battery clip on the battery connections. You can affix the battery clip
only on the correct pole. Never use force.
4. Push battery and battery clip into the battery compartment.
5. Close the battery compartment with the lid.
Battery Change Indicator
When the battery has run down, there will appear a
warning signal (A) on the display. Replace the
battery soonest with a new 9 V battery.
Please note! If the battery has run down, the
accuracy of measured value display does not
exist anymore.
