Changing the Grinding Disc
1. Make sure before carrying out any work on the chain saw sharpener that the
plug is disconnected from power mains.
2. Remove the protective cover (D). Unscrew the retaining nuts with the
included wrench. Use the jaw wrench to fix the spindle (27) and to loosen the
nut with the socket wrench. Replacement grinding disc speed must meet or
exceed the RPM rating of the unit.
3. Place the grinding disc. Only use grinding discs with a diameter of 100 mm.
4. Tighten the nut and mount the protective cover (D) on the unit.
Maintenance and Cleaning
ƒ Clean the unit from time to time with a dry paint-brush or a brush in order to
remove grinding residues.
ƒ Do not clean the unit with aggressive detergents or aggressive chemicals.
ƒ The unit is maintenance-free and does not require any lubrication.
