Inserting and Removing the Blades

Protect yourself from injuries to feet and hands caused by the
blades.

Carefully check the shrub before starting work and remove foreign
bodies such as stones, thick branches, etc. Cut out thick branches
first with pruning shears. Metal objects (e. g. wire fences or plant
supports) can cause damage to the blades.

Clean blocked blades with a blunt tool. Avoid blocking the blades
frequently. Avoid contact with brickwork and stones.
