Stall Force/Hindrance Detection
17
The increase in the stall force is a percentage increase in relation to
the learned values.
Turing to the left is equal to a force increase of 0%,
adjusting to the middle setting is equal to a force increase of +15%,
turning to the right us equal to a force increase of +75%.
Hindrance Detection
The sliding gate opener is equipped with a hindrance detection that
guarantees the necessary safe operation, if the gate touches an
obstacle while opening or closing. When touching an obstacle the
hindrance detection will reverse the moving of the gate.
When all settings on the sliding gate opener are finished, the
hindrance detection must be checked.
The hindrance detection adjustment is in inverse correlation with the
stall force adjustment of the potentiometer A. That means, the
Warning. There is risk of injuries when increasing the
stall force extensively.
When adjusting the stall force too
high it might happen that the gate will not close in time. This
can lead to personal injury by entrapment and or objects
might be damaged. Do not adjust the stall force too high!
