Safety Notes and Assembly
Remove the tyre rack from the packaging. Do not leave packaging materials
in the range of children. There is risk of suffocation!
The tyre rack is suited for tyre sizes up to 225 mm. Please note this
information, otherwise the tyre rack may lose its stability and tip over.
Make sure that the quick release clamp for the transport handle (11) fits
closely so the handle and cannot slip out!
If the tyre rack is loaded, drive around obstacles.
Do not try to drive the loaded tyre rack upstairs or downstairs.
Assembly
Before removing the wheels from the vehicle, label the position,
e.g. FR = front right, FL = front left, RR = rear right, RL = rear left.
Check the tire pressure, remove foreign objects from the tire pattern and
clean the tyres.
Store the tyres in an area that is clean, dry, dark, well ventilated, cool but
frost-free.
1. Insert the angled support (1) to the angular frame (2) and fasten it with 2 Allen
screws (7) and 2 spring lock washers (8). Tighten the screws using an Allen
key size 6.
2. Push the air tyre (3) onto the angular frame and fasten each tyre using one
locking pin (9). Make sure the valve of the tyres is facing outside. Bend each
leg of the locking pin with long nose pliers to one side in such a way, so that
the locking pin cannot slip out.
3. Now insert the low and the top connecting tubes (5) into each other and
screw the tubes together with 2 Allen screws and 2 spring lock washers.
Please note that the top connecting tube has a notch, in which the transport
handle should be inserted. This side of the tube has to be up.
4. Insert the mounted connecting tube to the angular frame. Fasten the lower
connecting tube to the angular frame also using 4 Allen screws and 4 spring
lock washers.
5. Push the supporting surface of the wheel rim (5) onto the connecting tube up
to the lowest opening for the locking pin (10).
