Operation
Switch Settings
The ultrasonic animal repeller provides two operation modes.
When connecting the unit with a 12 V power adapter, you can choose
between continuous operation and motion sensor controlled intermittent
operation.
If the mode selection switch (3) is set to
the CON (continuous) position, high
frequent ultrasonic sound waves will be
emitted continuously.
If the switch is set to the M/S position
(motion sensor), the high frequent sound
waves will be emitted for 5 seconds when
the motion sensor detects motion within its
field of view.
In order to achieve a long operating time
with one set of batteries in battery opera-
tion, the motion sensor controlled operat-
ing mode is always activated in both
settings CON and M/S. If the motion sensor detects motion within its field of
view, an ultrasonic sound is emitted for 5 seconds.
Set the mode selection switch to the OFF position to switch off the
ultrasonic animal repeller.
Notes:
Always put the transparent plastic switch cover back on the control panel
after each setup.
The red LED indicator (5) lights up when an ultrasonic sound is emitted.
Selecting the Frequency Range
Use the frequency selector witch (4) to select the frequency range of the
ultrasonic sound waves.
Switch Position H (high) :
approx. 40 kHz
Switch Position M (mid):
approx. 23 kHz
Switch Position L (low):
approx. 17 kHz
The frequency range to be used for best result depends on different
factors. Check all frequencies in order to achieve best results for the
intended purposes.
