Operation
When selecting the 17 kHz sound waves, it might be possible that humans
who are keen-eared can hear this sound. If these persons stay for long
time in the protecting area, switch the animal repeller to one of the other
frequency ranges.
Sealing for Outside Use
If the ultrasonic animal repeller is used
outdoors, all openings and screws should be
sealed appropriately to protect the unit from
humidity.
Use the provided small black plastic
plates to seal the screws and nuts of
both axles of the swivel bracket (refer to
the right-hand picture).
Seal the power supply jacks (8)
respectively (9) that are not in use with
the rubber plugs.
Cleaning and Storing
Only use a moistened cloth for cleaning the housing. Do not immerse the
unit into water!
Do not use aggressive chemicals or benzene for cleaning.
Clean the unit before storing it. Store the ultrasonic animal repeller indoors
in a dry place that is protected from dust, dirt and extreme temperatures.
Remove the batteries from the battery box before you store the device.
Store the unit out of reach of children.
