Operation
Before first Use
Remove the branch cutter and all accessories out of the packing and check all
parts for damage in transit. Keep packaging materials out of reach of children.
There is risk of suffocation!
Assembling the Guide Bar and the Saw Chain
Always wear gloves when handling the saw
chain.
1. Remove the sprocket cover by unscrewing
the fastening nut (3). Turn the fastening nut
counter clockwise in order to remove.
2. Slide the chain into the slot of the guide bar
(2). Observe the right running direction. On
guide bar you will find a chain link icon. Make
sure to correctly position the chain links, so
the links match the symbol.
3. Loosen the chain tensioning bolt with the
included hex key. The hex key is positioned
in the rear housing of the branch cutter
behind the motor housing.
4. Insert the guide bar with the chain over
the sprocket. Re-attach the sprocket
cover on the motor housing. Lightly
tighten the fastening nut (3).
5. Tighten the saw chain with the included
hex key.
