Using
Notes:
ƒ If a high resolution for the sequence has been set up and a high
frame rate has been selected, the file size of the video sequence
quickly can become very large.
ƒ A powerful PC is required in order to play back a high resolution
video sequence smoothly. The camera does not record audio.
ƒ The screenshots presented in this manual may have a slightly
different visual appearance on your PC depending on the in-
stalled operating system and on the software environment.
Using the USB Microscope with other Programs
The USB microscope can be used
to import the images directly into
other suitable image and word
processing programs.
For example in MS Word click on
“
Insert ” -> “ Picture ” -> “ From
Scanner or Camera ”. A new
window appears giving you direct
access to the camera of the
microscope (
USB Video Device ).
This way a current camera image
can be captured and imported into
your Word document.
Many programs offer similar interfaces.
Cleaning and Care
ƒ Wipe the unit with a lightly moistened cloth. Do not immerse it
into liquids.
ƒ Store the USB microscope indoors in a dry place that is pro-
tected from dust, dirt and extreme temperatures.
ƒ Store the USB microscope out of reach of children.
