Start-Up and Operation
Do not inflate larger objects such as truck or tractor tyres or inflatable
boats. These exceed the permissible operating time range and the
compressor capacity. In such a case use a suitable inflator to complete the
required pumping process.
This gauge is not calibrated. It is recommended to check the air pressure of
the tyres with a calibrated air pressure manometer before driving.
Never cover the compressor. During operation the compressors becomes
very hot. Only carry the compressor by the handle (2).
Do not use the compressor for more than 30 minutes continuously and
allow it to cool down for at least 30 minutes before using again.
Changing the Fuse
The 12 V power cord (11) is equipped with a 40
A fuse.
If the compressor cannot be switched on check
the fuse. In case of a failure replace the fuse
with one of the same type and dimensions.
Maintenance, Cleaning and Storing
Before undertaking any cleaning or maintenance on the compressor,
disconnect the crocodile clamps of the power cord from the battery.
Allow the unit to fully cool down.
Use only a damp cloth to clean
the compressor.
Do not use aggressive chemicals
or abrasives. Do not allow liquids
to enter the unit.
Store the compressor in a dry
place and protect the unit from
dust and dirt.
Clean the air filter from time to
time. Unscrew the air filter cover (1) by turning counter clockwise. Pull the
lid and remove the foam filter. Clean the foam filter with soapy water. Allow
the foam filter to completely air dry.
Store the compressor in a dry location and protect the unit from dust and
dirt.
