Start-Up and Operation
Using the Compressor
1. Attach the air hose screw connector (7) to the valve of the unit you intend
to inflate (e. g. tyre) and screw down the air hose screw connector.
If the air hose screw connector (7) does not fit on the valve of the unit you
intend to inflate, use one of the included adaptors (13, 14 or 15) and
connect the adaptor with the valve of the unit. The adaptors (13, 14 and
15) are suitable for inflating footballs, volley balls, beach toys or air
mattresses.
2. Make sure the ON/OFF switch (3) is in position
O
and switched off.
3. Connect the spiral air hose (5) with the
compressor. Pull the quick connector (10)
outwards and insert the connector to the
quick coupling socket. Release the quick
connector in order to fix it.
4. Attach the crocodile clamps to the battery
of the vehicle. First connect the
red
crocodile clamp with the
+pole
and then the
black
crocodile clamp with the
–pole
.
5. If larger units have to be inflated it might be
necessary to start the engine of the vehicle.
Switch on the compressor by pressing the ON/OFF switch in direction
I
. If
the desired pressure on the pressure gauge (6) is reached, remove the
adaptor from the valve of the unit you intend to inflate.
6. Switch off the compressor. Also switch off the engine and disconnect the
crocodile clamps from the battery.
Attention!
Hints
Do not inflate objects to a pressure for which they are not intended. Please
keep an eye on the item while it is inflating to prevent over inflation. Please
keep in mind that smaller items such as volleyballs or footballs are filled
very quickly. Do not leave the compressor unattended while it is in
operation.
The maximum pressure may be obtained when the battery of the vehicle is
fully charged.
