Safety Notes
Never leave the unit unsupervised when in use. Keep it out of reach of chil-
dren or persons in need of supervision.
Persons with limited physical, sensorial or mental abilities are not allowed to
use the unit, unless they are supervised and briefed for their safety by a quali-
fied person.
Be attentive! Pay attention what you do. Approach your work with circum-
spection.
If the power cord is damaged or cut, while working, please do not touch the
power cable. Unplug immediately the power plug. Never use the unit with
damaged power cord.
To prevent injuries, please wear convenient protective clothing such
as protective gloves, goggles and ear protection.
If you want to use the unit outdoors, connect it via Fl protection
switch with an actuating current of 30 mA maximum. Do not operate
the unit in rain or moisture.
Do not work with moistened materials as wallpapers or in damp ar-
eas. Do not soak surfaces, you want to work on, with liquids contain-
ing solvents. Due to scrapping, the heating of the material can cause toxic
fumes.
Do not work on material, containing asbestos.
Unit and tools warm up when using them for a long time. Do not overload the
electric scraper and allow to cool down between the individual operational
steps.
Secure the workpiece e.g. by chucking it in a parallel vice. Hold the machine
with both hands and take care of a firm foothold.
Do not open the unit and do not try to repair it yourself. Please feel free to
contact a professional or our customer service. Only use original replacement
parts.
