Operating
Assembly
1. Reassemble the jaw sleeves in
reverse order and screw them back
on the air riveter. Hand tight all parts.
2. Check the distance of the front and
rear jaw sleeves (
III
und
VI
) before
use.
3. Attach the spanner gauge (17) to the
already assembled jaw sleeves. If the
gauge, as shown in the figures lines
up with the air riveter, the jaw sleeves
(
III
and
VI
) are correctly tightened. If
it does not, loosen/tighten the sleeves
until the distance is corrected.
Lubrication
Pneumatic tools have to be lubricated always sufficiently. This is done
continuously and safest by using an oil-fog lubricator. If the oiler is mounted
centrally at the compressor or mounted firmly at the end of the compressed-air
pipe installation, use only a hose with a length of max. 10 m. If the hose is longer,
the nebulisation disappears in the air. The oil floats inside the hose and does not
arrive at the air tool.
Oiler Setting:
Hose up to 5 m
every 2 minutes
1 drop
Hose up to 10 m
every minute
1 drop
If you do not have an oiler at yours disposal, please put a few drops of oil into the
compressed-air connection before using the unit. Lubricate the air hydraulic riveter
once more after use, especially if you do not operate the unit for a long time.
Further maintenance work is not necessary.
