1- Recharge circuit: consisting of two identical but distinct channels, it adapts VPAN and IPAN (PV module voltage
and current respectively) in order to search for the condition in which the power supplied by the PV module is
maximum, achieving what is referred to in technical literature as MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking). It
also manages battery charging by reducing the current delivered to the battery under conditions where the

voltage equals its V

charging voltage.
2- Independent PV inputs: the channels are independent, the controller will search for two different MPPTs
(useful, for example, in a system with two pitches).
3- Protections: The switches act as battery inversion protection and blocking diodes, preventing the PV module
from drawing current from the battery at night when it is not illuminated.
4- Microprocessor: controls the entire circuit; measures currents and voltages of the PV modules, battery and
load, shows them on the display, manages
WBUS
communication.
5- OUT: It is a potential-free contact and can be used to control auxiliary devices (e.g. programmed activation of a
load).
6- IN: This is an analogue/digital input used respectively to manage a temperature probe for batteries, or digitally
to receive an enable.
The WRM60 X has an automatic recognition of the battery voltage when it is switched on, consequently it sets the
appropriate charging parameters as described in
Tab . 1 .

If the battery voltage does not fall within one of the ranges in Tab . 1 the WRM60 X will signal an error, charging
will be disabled. If this error occurs, check that the battery bank voltage is correct and then restart.
