Local Protocol Port
The protocol port is the second part of a end point identity. This local UDP port is used
only in application mode.
Allowed values are 65535 (>1024 recommended). Default is 9000.
Please observe that ports 1–1024 are ”well-known ports”, hence commonly used by
other programs (e.g. FTP, Telnet, NETBOIS, mail etc). ”well-known ports” should
normally not be used by ED-10. All ”well-known” ports are listed in RFC 1700
(assigned numbers).
Network datagrammes addressed to this port will be transmitted at serial interface 1
(CH1).
In configuration mode a fixed TCP port (23) is used.
Remote IP address*
Remote IP address is used as the first part of the remote end point identity, in applica-
tion mode.
10.0.0.10 is used as default.
Any received data at serial interface 1 (CH1) will be echoed back, as long as default
settings remain unchanged.
Remote Protocol Port

User name for remote configuration over network (telnet login).
Default is ed10.
Telnet password
Password for remote configuration over network (telnet login).
Default is ed10.
Delayed configure
The affect of changed settings can be postponed 0 – >10080 minutes
(more than one week).
