Designed to break at rated temperature. Breaking (i.e. fire on the cooktop) activates

particles of grease from reaching the FILTER PACK for reduced maintenance costs.

HI-EFFICIENCY/CHARCOAL

FILTER PACK

Stops most grease and smoke particles. Also assists in some cooking odor removal.

GREASE DRIP TRAY

Collects grease/moisture dripping from grease baffle(16).

VENTILATOR EXHAUST DUCT

Exit point for ventilator airflow - on top left rear of unit.

INTERLOCK TERMINAL

Provides connection for shut-down control by building fire management system.

FILTER INTERLOCK SWITCHES

Proper installation of grease baffle and filter pack close these switches in ventilator

sensor circuit.

VENTILATOR FAN

Provides air movement for ventilation.

HOOD SIDE SHIELD

Required on left and right sides of hood. Factory installed.

SIDE SPACERS

Required to maintain 6” spacing from combustibles. Field installed
