2.5.3 Configuring the Mail Environment
Make sure Mail Environment has been configured correctly, otherwise
mail can’t be sent or received.
On
the main menu of the setting environment, use keys on the Remote Control
to
select “
Mail Environment ”
and press
Enter ,
then use keys to select the item
you
wish to configure.
1.
SMTP Server Name
:
This information is supplied by your local ISP.
2.
POP Server Name
:
This information is supplied by your local ISP.
3.
Mail Account
:
This information is supplied by your local ISP.
4.
Mail Password
:
This information is supplied by your local ISP.
5.
Mail Address
:
This information is supplied by your local ISP.
6.
Domain Name
:
This field can be left blank.
7.
Sender Name
:
Enter the name you wish to show on outgoing mail.
8.
Signature
:
Enter the signature you wish to show on outgoing mail. (Optional)
9.
Delete Received Mail Automatically
:
Set to “No” to save your incoming
mail.
Set to “Yes” to delete incoming mail after it has been read. The default
setting
is “Yes”.
10.
Time Interval for Checking Arrival Mail
:
You can change the default time
for
automatically checking your mailbox.
Press
“
Ok
”
to confirm your settings. Press “
Cancel
”
to exit without making changes.
