Main
menu
You
will see the following screen after you turn on the WEB-2000. Press the
F1
(Menu)
key to bring up the main menu at the bottom.

Setting
the
Connection
Environment
Press
“
Setup
”
to bring up the main menu for setting the connection environment (or
you
can press
F11
of
IR keyboard to enter
Setup
),
then use the keys on the
Remote
Control to select “
Connection
Environment
”
and use keys
to
select
the
item you wish to configure.
1.
Type
of
Dialing
:
There are two settings: pulse, and tone. The default setting is
“tone”
(DTMF system).
2.
Dial
Tone
Detection
:
The default setting is “Yes”. If you use the PABX
(Private
Automatic Branch eXchange) system, select “No” to force your built-in
modem
to dial out the number.
3.
Enable
Dialup
Terminal?
:
Select “Yes” for terminal mode connecting and
“No”
for BBS mode.
4.
Outer
Line
Number
:
If you use the PABX system, set the number to access it.
If
not, skip it. (for example: “9” or “0” or “0,” or “0,,”, the “,” is time delay code
and
one “,” as two seconds)
5.
Number
to
be
connected
to
:
Key in your local ISP telephone number. (Check
with
your local ISP if you are not sure.)
