Scale transportation
Manual transport
Note
If your scale has an oversize cradle, make sure to remove and safely handle
the cradle before moving the scale.
1. Unplug the power adapter cable from the scale.
2. Use only the handles to lift and move the scale.
3. At the new scale location, do the following:
a. Make sure the scale is positioned on a flat surface with the rear bumper facing
the wall.
b. Make sure the scale is positioned so that all four feet are on a stable surface.
c. If you have an oversize cradle, make sure to place the cradle on the scale
properly.
d. Make sure to plug the power adapter cable into the wall and into the back of the
scale.
e. Make sure the power adapter cable does not pose a tripping hazard and is easily
accessible.
Cart transport
The cart is a purchasable option.
1. Make sure the cart wheels are unlocked.
2. Unplug the power adapter cable from the rear of the scale.
3. Use only the cart handle to move the scale.
4. At the new scale location, do the following:
a. Make sure the scale is positioned so that all four feet are on top of the cart.
b. Make sure to lock the wheels on the cart.
c. Make sure to plug the power adapter cable into the wall and into the back of the
scale.
d. Make sure the power adapter cable does not pose a tripping hazard and is easily
accessible.
