Parameters of the individual WEM devices (WTC, SG, etc.) 

 

 

Activation of group object/communication object sending 

 

 

 

 

  For each of the WEM devices, the first thing to do is to activate the parameter and object 

sending. Then a naming or description (e.g. ground floor) can be added to each commu-

nication object and the sending condition for sending as a group object can be set. 

 

 

Adding of naming/description 

 

 

 

 

  For each activated parameter, the entered naming appears in the name of the respective 

communication object (example: "ground floor"). 

 

 

Set the sending condition 

 

  If the sending condition is "only on request" (default value), the gateway sends the cur-

rent value of the group object to the KNX bus only upon request from a KNX device. To 

be more specifical, it is sent to the KNX participants who share the affected group object, 

i.e. the same group address. 

 

 

 

 

  A difference value can be set for numeric values under Send value automatically. This 

difference value indicates the difference between the value received from the WEM sys-

tem and the last stored value of the group object (Automatic sending to KNX after 

change by at least the difference value). 

 

  The difference value can be increased to prevent constant sending at fluctuating values, 

to avoid unnecessary traffic and therefore, to reduce the busload.
