7.  Stick a strip of double-sided adhesive tape (approx. 20 to 50 cm long) to the area under the 

Optinut roller tube's fabric rail on each side of the fabric edges. Do not remove the double-

sided adhesive tape's protective film yet. 

 

8.  Hang the new fabric in the roller tube groove (1) and insert or press the fabric into the groove 

using a blunt, flat tool (e.g. a plastic card) (2).  

Note:

 The claw or magnetic claw piping hook and beaded profile with round cord edges must 

be facing downwards (3). Align the roller tube in the centre (4)! 

 

 

 

9.  Secure the fabric on the projection profile with the cord edge and screw it back in place with 

the 6x50 chipboard screw and fabric dowel. 

 

10. Remove the double-sided adhesive tape's protective film and press the fabric onto it. Slight 

corrections are still possible, as full adhesion is only achieved later. 

 

11. Connect the test run cable and press the retract button until the fabric is wound up so far on 

the Optinut roller tube shaft and the projection profile is still approx. 30 cm in front of the 

cassette. As you do this, make sure that the fabric is wound up evenly and centrally. 

 

12. Fold up the bottom of the cassette when 

everything is working properly and make 

sure that the straps are placed towards the 

back in the headplates 

(Detail A).

 

 

13. Screw the two parts of the headplates 

together with the M4 cylinder screws using 

a socket wrench.

how to tighten the system again. 

 

15. Perform a test run as described in the 

assembly instructions. 

 

16. Align the system according to the assembly 

instructions. 

 

17. Re-fit the bracket covers to the brackets. 

 

18. Close the projection profile again. 

 

Reprogram the end position, if required. 

 

PLEASE NOTE: 

Insert the LED cover profile if it is missing 

before the system is completely retracted.
