3.3 Preparatory work for changing the fabric, if the cassette is not to be disassembled
Opening the projection profile
1. If distance ropes are assembled on the
system, they must be disassembled first.
2. Extend the conservatory awning
approx. 30 cm., if possible.
3. Disconnect from the power supply voltage.
4. Pull the 10x6.7 mm cover plugs out of the
drilled holes in the projection profile.
5. Remove the 4.2x16 filister-head self-tapping
screws and the projection profile cover.
Loosening the system
6. Loosen the tensioning rope's cable ties in
the projection profile

7. Undo the knots on the rope clamp

8. Push the braided sleeving to the side

9. Carefully loosen the rope clamp's M6
countersunk screw so that the system is
loosened

10. Loosen the flange screw without M6 ratchet
on the end cap

11. Pull the tensioning rope out of the side
channel's bottom chamber and keep it taut in
the direction of the guttering

12. Remove the end cap from the side channel
in the direction of the guttering
(C).
13. The system is now loosened.
Disassembling the side channels
14. Loosen and remove the side channel's end
caps
15. Remove the "bracket covers" from all side
channel brackets, for example, by levering
them out through the hole at the side using a
screwdriver

16. Slightly loosen the M6 flange nuts on all the
side channel brackets and move them to one
side together with the 28x28x4 mm carriage
(B)
so that the side channel can be
removed.
