3.2 Symbols in the Operating Instructions
The following symbols can appear in the operation instructions and are defined accordingly:
This exclamation mark, framed in an equilateral triangle, draws the operator’s attention to the fact that very important
directions are available and the operator should read and follow the information with particular interest.
Obligation to recycle waste materials into the production process and to safeguard the natural resources and protect the
environment.
Point of orientation to controls and objects, etc. illustrated in this operation and service instructions.
4 Regulations for the use of the Slab Grab JUMBO II
Please pay particular attention to the information concerning the use of the machine.
Attention! Danger of Injury!!
Inappropriate use leads to personal injuries and damage to materials!!
This unit, respectively machine is especially conceived for one or several application fields.
The following chapter explains the possible applications and the possible dangers during the operation.
4.1 Field of Application of the Slab Grab JUMBO II
You have purchased a quality product of WEHA-Ludwig Werwein GmbH.
The Slab Grab JUMBO II is a helping device, to facilitate the easy transposing of stone blocks, and to assist you within your work area.
Please note the following special characteristics:
Simple and quick transposing of stone blocks
Extremely large gripping width from 500 mm to 1.000 mm
Very handy and light weight, with small dimensions and galvanized upper surfaces
High lifting load from maximum of 1.500 kg
4.2 Inappropriate Application
The Slab Grab JUMBO II is to be used exclusively for transposing stone blocks with a maximum weight of 1500 kg.
Utilize the Slab Grab JUMBO II exclusively for the proposed purpose and avoid materials which could damage individual
components of the machine!
The Slab Grab JUMBO II is complete and specifically designed for the proposed application!
It is not permitted to insert a device or an object between the stone block and the rubber clamps
The Slab Grab JUMBO II may not be used to retrieve any stone blocks from a pile.
The Slab Grab JUMBO II may only be used when transposing one stone block at a time.
The Slab Grab JUMBO II may only be hooked onto a suitable safety hook of a lifting device.
Never walk or stand under suspended loads!
